Graduations that pass or are satisfactory are not transferable, nor is developing coursework, college algebra or technical and career courses. However this policy has been altered during the COVID-19 pandemic, and all courses that were taken prior to then can be considered transferable.
For transfer credit, courses completed at accredited regional schools must have earned a grade or grade “C” or better in the previous institution. To transfer credits classes must be similar in both scope and substance. While a C-grade is the minimal requirement for transferable credits, some institutions accept grades of “D” or higher. Accreditation bodies comprise these bodies: the Middle States Association of Colleges and Schools The New England Association of Schools and Colleges, the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges, in addition to the Southern Association of School and Colleges.
TCEL shows courses that have been transferred to Clemson before. It’s not a complete list . Courses not listed on this list must be evaluated prior to applying to Clemson. It is also worth noting that the TCEL listing also lists different course equivalents, but the list does not reveal differences in the amount of credit hours that institutions offer. Additionally, even though the TCEL lists courses that are equivalent to courses taken at other colleges, the Office of Admissions’ evaluations are based on the latest information.
While your prior course work could be acceptable to you, it is imperative to review its academic consequences. If you are unable to complete the necessary course work Consider retaking the course. Make sure you earn at minimum a “C” in the course in addition to meeting any other conditions to be met by the school. A course that you have taken two or three times can affect your cumulative GPA, so be careful when making a decision to repeat it.
