However this policy has been amended during the COVID-19 disease, and courses completed prior to that can be considered transferable.
To earn transfer credits, courses that are taken at accredited regional institutions require a passing grade that is “C” or better in the previous institution. Additionally, even though the TCEL list courses that are equivalent with courses offered by other institutions, the Office of Admissions’ evaluations reflect current information.
While your previous course work may be acceptablefor you, it is important to examine its academic consequences. If you’re not able to meet the requirements of the course look into retaking it. Make sure you earn at minimum an “C” in the course and fulfill any rules to be met by the school. When you are taking a class two or three times can negatively impact your cumulative GPA so you need to be aware of this in deciding whether to repeat the course.
